Juvelook is a next-generation collagen-stimulating injectable treatment designed to improve skin quality, texture and elasticity. Rather than adding volume like traditional dermal fillers, Juvelook works by stimulating the skin’s natural collagen production, gradually improving firmness and skin structure over time.
At The Appearance Clinic Rotorua, Juvelook is commonly delivered using mesotherapy techniques, allowing precise placement within the superficial dermis to support skin rejuvenation and collagen renewal.
How Juvelook Works
Juvelook contains a combination of poly-DL-lactic acid (PDLLA) and hyaluronic acid.
The hyaluronic acid provides immediate hydration and skin support, while the PDLLA particles stimulate fibroblasts in the skin to produce new collagen over time. This gradual collagen stimulation helps improve:
• skin texture
• elasticity
• fine lines
• overall skin quality
Because the treatment works with the body’s natural collagen production, improvements typically develop gradually over several weeks.
Advanced Injectable Treatments
Our injectable services are supported by a highly experienced clinical team. Lianne Dunsmuir , who has over 20 years’ experience in appearance medicine and operates her own clinic in Victoria Park, Auckland, visits Rotorua every 6–8 weeks to provide more advanced procedures such as tear trough treatments and barbed thread procedures. With Tracey available in the clinic two days per week, we are able to offer clients greater flexibility and a wider range of treatment options within a well-supported clinical environment.
At The Appearance Clinic Rotorua we offer a carefully selected range of injectable treatments designed to support skin quality, hydration and facial balance. Treatments may include products such as Profhilo®, a hyaluronic acid–based injectable designed to improve skin hydration and elasticity, and the Restylane® range, including Restylane® Kysse™, Restylane® Vital™ and Restylane® Lyft™.
These products are formulated using stabilised hyaluronic acid and are used in aesthetic medicine to support skin hydration, improve skin quality, or restore structure and volume where appropriate. Treatment selection depends on the individual’s skin condition, facial anatomy and treatment goals.
During consultation we assess skin quality, facial structure and aesthetic priorities to determine whether these injectable options may form part of a personalised treatment plan aimed at maintaining natural-looking, balanced results.
NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide)
We also offer NAD+ injections, a naturally occurring coenzyme present in every cell of the body and involved in cellular energy production and metabolic processes. NAD plays a role in supporting mitochondrial function and cellular activity, and levels naturally decline with age. In wellness and regenerative settings, NAD supplementation is sometimes used as part of broader programmes aimed at supporting cellular energy, recovery and overall wellbeing.
At The Appearance Clinic Rotorua, NAD is administered via subcutaneous injection, and treatments may be performed in clinic or through supervised self-administration where appropriate. Suitability for NAD treatment is assessed during consultation to ensure it aligns with the individual’s health history and treatment goals.
